Super Summer Kickoff

Had a great Super Summer Kickoff tasting the other night. A good crowd turned out and the wines showed very well. Casa di Vino also had recipes paired with each of the wines. Those recipes can be found on CDV's website. Thanks to David from Dimitri Wine Co. for pouring. Stars of the tasting were a white blend from Portugal's Cerejeiras winery and an Italian Sangiovese from Umani Ronchi. The white is crisp and a touch minerally with great tropical fruit notes. The red is medium bodied and very easy drinking with an herbal note. Great for tomatoes & bell peppers. Stop by Casa di Vino and give them a try. Your wine & food guy also has many other great wines for summer. Either matched with food or just for chilling out. We also finally got in our cheese & salami order so we've got great nibbles to go with our world class vino.

Tuesday, May 4, from 5-7 PM CDV is pleased to continue our Food & Wine Series by featuring “An Evening with Sheree Clark”. Sheree is a holistic health and nutrition counselor specializing in raw foods. With spring here the opportunity to eat “raw” comes into full bloom. Come join us as we sample tasty bites of Sheree’s fare paired with individually chosen wine. It should be enlightening and good fun.

 

Tuesday, May 18 from 5-7 Casa di Vino celebrates our 5th Annual “Super Summer Kickoff”. CDV will pour a variety of wines that you can enjoy all summer long. Whether relaxing on the deck or boat, picnicking, or grilling and chilling, these wines will make the experience more enjoyable. Just in time for Memorial Day. CDV will have great summer recipes paired with each of the wines also. Come taste the wines we’ll be quaffing all throughout the summer. Bet you find something you like.

 

Casa di Vino’s summer cheese and salami selection is due through the door any minute. When you’re thinking about what to nibble on with that glass of vino think CDV.
